| The great majority
of our students seek to continue their academic studies following
graduation from high school. Parents, students and teachers
work together in an atmosphere of mutual trust in an effort
to provide students with sound advice about their future
plans. In addition to regular classes, our school offers
supplementary courses, aptitude tests, off-campus mock examinations,
guidance meetings (for third-year students), meetings for
students and parents to explain university procedures and
programs. We make every effort to give our students the resources
and the support that they need in order to make informed,
appropriate choices. |

On the Importance of Learning a Foreign Language While You Are Young |
I took up golf at first because my father encouraged me to
do so when I was in high school. I wasn't very keen on the
game at first. I preferred to ski with my friends. As a result
of my skiing, I got rotten scores on my Spring exams. I buckled
down and challenged myself to succeed. I learned from participating
in club activities that it is very important to treat older
students and those with whom you come into contact with proper
respect. When I traveled abroad, I learned that-along with
treating people properly-I realized how important it is to
learn foreign languages. My alma mater has recently made
a special effort to offer a rich foreign language program.
By all means, no matter what field you enter in the future,
do your best to learn one well. |

Find Out What Interests You and Challenge Yourself
When I think back on my high school days, the first thing
that pops into my head I the fact that I founded the school's
ski club. I was nominally a member of the track-and-field
club but I was much more into skiing and, after talking with
three of my good friends about it, I started a ski club.
I discovered from this experience that if you have a genuine
interest in something, even if it takes a lot of hard work,
you can rise to the challenge. This rule applies to my work
for my company as well. I have always put aside romance and
focused on resolving to open up my own path. Our company's
slogan is "challenge". To the young, I always say: "Find
what interests you, set goals and put forth all of the energy
you can to reach them." |
