Three
years blessed with good friends and good teachers
Because classes in the International Division are very small, the environment
there is ideal for learning. I have very fond memories of the friendships
I made with other students and of staying late at school to prepare for
the school festival. Going to Australia to study English is perhaps the
most memorable event I participated in during my high school years. I was
away from Japan for ten weeks. My memories of my homestay are like a dream
to me, but when I remember saying goodbye to my host family, I cry even
now. The experience allowed me to develop an international perspective.
Also, I became very close with my teachers and the other students. This
closeness enriched my high school years. I learned much during my three
years at NIHS, but I am most proud of the friends that I made there and
of the teachers, who were consistently helpful. I am pursuing my dreams
at Nagoya University of Foreign Languages, but I will never forget my alma
mater-Nagoya International High School. |
